Sales Customer Service Representative:
Whether in person or over the phone, sales representative needs to describe products, conduct demonstrations, explain the benefits that their products convey, and answer any questions that their customers may have. Stay abreast of new products and the changing needs of their customers in a variety of ways. Analyze sales statistics, prepare reports, and handle administrative duties such as filing expense accounts, scheduling appointments, making travel plans, and assisting VP. Monitor the sales, manage suppliers and negotiate purchase prices. Generally work is inside, interacting with customers over the phone resolving problems or complaints about the merchandise from an office location, but mild traveling to meet clients in person could be required. Representative may show samples and inform customers about prices, availability, and ways in which the product can save money and boost productivity. Full-time position with benefits and additional commission to hourly rate.
Requirements: HS diploma and one year relevant experience in packaging industry preferred but not necessary. Excellent communication skills and the desire to sell. Goal oriented, persuasive, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team. A pleasant personality and appearance and problem-solving skills are highly valued. Patience and perseverance also are keys to succeeding in this position. Organizational and general business skills, as well as knowledge of accounting, marketing, MS Office Suite, and administration are a must.
